Hrithik Roshan Aamir Khan and Salman Kha
Recently Hrithik Roshan was invited as a guest on the second season of Koffee with Karan and he jokingly made a jibe about the heights of Aamir Khan and Salman Khan .
Though Hrithik, who stands tall at 6’1”, jokingly commented on the heights of Aamir and Salman, his comment was not taken too well by some members in Bollywood.
Karan Johar , the host of the show was at his famous rapid-fire round and asked Hrithik whether he would like to work with Aamir or Salman.
Hrithik decided to be a little mischievous and wanted to have some fun, so he jokingly remarked that since both Aamir and Salman were of the same height, there was not much of a choice.
However it seems that certain people in the film industry have taken the remark made by Hrithik too seriously and also feel that he deliberately tried to run down the two senior actors.
But Hrithik claims there was no malicious intent behind his remark, he claims "If people really took offense to my spontaneous remark, then I must say we really lack a sense of humour. My comment on Aamir-Salman should be taken in the right spirit and I didn't mean any disrespect to them."
In fact Hrithik even further elaborated on his comment while on the show and claimed that both Aamir and Salman had a lot of talent and that it would take him quite a few years to achieve what they already had. But right now the only point he had above them was his height.
Johar too claimed that he wanted both his celebrities and the audiences to have fun while on his show and while watching it too.
Johar too remarked that the comment made by Hrithik on Aamir and Salman was just a joke and not meant to be taken seriously.
One wonders if Aamir and Salman have taken any offense to Hrithik's comments.
Salman donates 4.5 lakhs to cancer patient
Salman Khan has been the victim of muckrakers for years together. He has been infamous for knocking down pedestrians and shooting black bucks. However, there is a good side to the Bollywood actor that often goes unnoticed.
Recently, Salman donated Rs. 4.5 lakh for the treatment of a seven-year-old child stricken with cancer. Reportedly, he had made the donation almost two months ago; however, he did not intimate the media about it. On Saturday, February 10, Salman personally went to visit the child, Saugat Kunwar. Leaving his appointments aside in the afternoon, he paid a visit to his school. He attended the Annual Day celebrations of Children Welfare Centre High School and Clara’s College of Commerce. He sat with Kunwar for about half an hour, and then exited quickly before the media arrived at the event. According to sources, Salman was not aware that the media had been invited to cover this event. But when he learnt this, he made a prompt exit. The school principal was quoted saying that Salman shelled out a huge amount without knowing the child, and that he genuinely cares for the less fortunate.
Salman recently gave an alluring performance in Nikhil Advani’s Salaam-e-Ishq. The brawny actor will now be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya and Rumi Jaffery’s God Tussi Great Ho.

Salman Khan - new face of Mayur !
Remember Mayur Suitings – the brand that was once endorsed by Shah Rukh Khan with the jingle “Mayur, Mayur, kya hit, kya fit”. LNJ Bhilwara Group’s flagship brand will now feature another Bollywood superstar for endorsements – Salman Khan!
In this new campaign, Salman’s tagline will be 'Stars ki pasand'. The ad shows Salman donning a Mayur suit and charming the opposite sex with his good looks and style.
Mayur has had a range of Bollywood celebrities for promotions. King Khan was the first ever such star in the year 1995, for almost five years. Following suit were Chandrachud Singh and Sharad Kapoor. For a brief period, cricketer Virender Sehwag also endorsed the brand. And now, Salman Khan has been chosen as the brand ambassador so as to generate mass appeal and a better consumer-connect. Reportedly, the company narrowed down on Salman since he represents the toughness and quality of the fabric with his image. He has certain personality attributes that go very well with the brand and provide an aspirational connect with consumers across all segments in the country.
Although Salman has often been misunderstood, he has a large fan following and an indisputable mass appeal, which is why he has been a favourite choice for brand endorsements. Salman has also endorsed brands like Red Tape and Lux Undergarments.
Salman in Kunal Kohli's film?
From Hrithik Roshan [MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE] to Saif Ali Khan [HUM TUM] to Aamir Khan [FANAA], Kunal Kohli has moved to Salman Khan for his new film. With Yash Raj presenting Kunal’s film and Salman essaying the lead role, does it mark Salman’s entry into the Yash Raj camp? “Nahin, aisa kuch bhi nahin hain,” Kunal laughs, “I haven’t signed him [Salman] for my new film. Someone’s imagination is working overtime.”
There has to be some truth to it. “I guess, it triggered off during the G.I.F.A. Awards in Malaysia. Arbaaz [Salman’s younger brother] and I got friendly during that period. One evening, Salman threw a small party in his suite and Arbaaz asked me if I’d like to join them. I did, and the next thing I know, there are reports that I had signed Salman. Wasn’t SRK supposed to star in my film initially?” Kunal jokes.
Kunal sounds amused, “Dekhte hain, whom they transplant next. If I meet someone for lunch tomorrow, would it mean I have signed him for my venture? Let me complete writing the script first. I have decided not to approach any actor till I am ready with a hardbound script. Does that clarify my stand?” It does!
I Will Marry When God Consents
My marriage is in God's hands: Salman Khan NEW DELHI: Actor Salman Khan has been romantically linked to several of his fellow stars over the course of his career, which has span two decades. However, he says he has left getting married in God's hands.
When the actor was asked about any marriage plans, Salman, who was in Dehli for a promotional event, said, "Whenever He will give consent, I'll get married. Things are not in my hand. Without His will, nothing happens."
When the controversial star was questioned as to whether he was veiling some sadness by answering in such a philosophical fashion, he replied, "There is nothing like that. I believe that He controls all of man's decisions. I'm also waiting for his signal."
There had been rumours of the prospect of Salman finally tying the knot with Aishwarya Rai with whom he was romantically linked at one time.
On the subject of his 20-year career, with films from Biwi Ho To Aisi to Salaam-E-Ishq, Salman said he was looking forward to some of his upcoming films.
"I'll soon be doing an action film which will be a complete departure from my romantic image," he said, adding he was considering five to six scripts and would decide on them soon.
The star, who was once rated among the most attractive actors in the world by Time magazine, is satisfied with his career despite not being in the race for the number one slot.
He said, "I will continue to act as long as my fans want me to. Their happiness is everything for me."
Asked about the dominance of the three Khans – Shah Rukh, Aamir, and himself -- in Hindi Cinema, Salman said, "I don't think that only the Khans dominate. It's only a coincidence that all three of us came at about the same time and that we share the Khan surname".
He joked, "Stars like Hrithik, Akshay, Fardeen, Zayed and Sanjay Dutt are popular today. Salman's films are flopping," referring to his three previous films -- Jaaneman, Baabul and Salaam-E-Ishq - that did not fare well at the box office.
